Saar slipover pattern in English

The Saar Slipover is a slightly oversize slipover. It is worked from the top down in stockinette stitch.
 
First the back is worked, then the shoulders, then the front of the yoke and finally the body. You finish the slipover in rib. At the end you knit the rib edges of the neck and the armholes.
 
You knit the front back and forth in the charted colorwork pattern using 4 different colors
Are you an advanced knitter, but you have no experience with colorwork yet? Then this slipover is perfect. If you're a beginner knitter, I wouldn't recommend this pattern just yet. Instead, consider knitting the Simpel Sweater, for example.
 
This slipover is perfect for wearing during autumn, winter and spring.

Sizes: (X)-small S, (medium) (M), large L and (X-Large) (XL).
Measurements:
Slipover chest measurement: 96 (99) 106 (112,5) cm / 37,8 (38,9) 41,7 (44,3) inches—> The sizes S (M) L (XL) are intended to fit a bust measurements of approximately 85 - 90 (90 - 95) 95 - 100 (100- 110) cm / 32 - 34 (36 - 38) 40 - 42 (44 - 46) inches.
Length, centre front: 55 (55) 60 (60) / 21,6 (21,6) 23,6 (23,6) inches. (This is after blocking) 
Recommended needles: 6 mm and 4 mm (US 10 and 6)/ 100 and 80 cm (39,3 inches and 31,4 inches).
For neck and armholes: 60 cm (and 23,62 inches).
Gauge: 16 sts x 21 rows in stockinette stitch (after blocking).
Suggested yarn: 300 (300) 350 (400) gram of Peruvian Highland Wool from Filcolana (50 gram = 100 m (110 yards) (colour merlot (melange) 804). For the sizes L and XL you need to buy two balls of color A and C.
